First Home Owners Grant
The first home owners grant (FHOG) is a one-off payment of $10,000 to encourage and assist first home buyers to buy or build a new residential property for use as their principal place of residence.
Stamp Duty Concessions
When a home buyer is eligible for the First Home Owner Grant, a concessional rate of transfer duty will apply if the value of the dutiable property is below certain thresholds.
Keystart™
Keystart™ is the State Government funded lender that provides low-deposit home loans to Western Australians who were unable to meet the deposit requirements of mainstream lenders. Keystart™ home loans have lower entry costs, with a low deposit requirement and no lender’s mortgage insurance.
First Home Guarantee Scheme
The First Home Guarantee (FHG) is an Australian Government initiative to support eligible first home buyers purchase their first home sooner. Usually first home buyers with less than a 20 per cent deposit need to pay lenders mortgage insurance. Under the First Home Guarantee, eligible first home buyers can purchase a modest home with a deposit of as little as 5 per cent (lenders criteria apply).
Family Home Guarantee Scheme
The Family Home Guarantee (FHG) is an Australian Government initiative that aims to support eligible single parents with at least one dependent child in purchasing a family home. The Family Home Guarantee can be used to build a new home with a deposit of as little as 2 percent.
First Home Super Saver Scheme
You can make voluntary concessional (before-tax) and voluntary non-concessional (after-tax) contributions into your super fund to save for your first home.
